No More Gossiping
Talha Rathore | Class IX-C Grey | JTC Boys' Campus

"Gossip is a casual conversation or a report about other people typically involving details that are not confirmed as being true." Gossip also refers to idle talk or rumours about the personal or private affairs of others. Gossip can be light informal conversation for social occasions or a report about the behaviour of other people.

Gossip is common in informal groups. The talk refers to a person who is not present at the moment. This talk can be a rumour, scandal or simply the exchange of someone's profile. Gossip is a routine activity, but women are fonder of gossiping. They can be found gossiping with their friends and siblings in their free time. Gossip has been practiced for years and day by day it is becoming more popular.

Let's look at some aspects of gossiping. When you have some complicated information about someone, you are so cool and up-to-date; you have the first edition dirt on other people. Some people make it a priority to gather gossip and pass it along because they have nothing else to contribute. Gossip has become fun and games, regardless of the wreckage it brings to people's lives.

Gossip causes hate and problems between people, as it harms and hurts people's feelings. It also decreases the morale of a person and gossiping means wastage of time. If a person's complicated secret is revealed he feels insecure and will live in this world hiding from people. Revealing someone's secret makes him feel insulted and no one can bear his/her insult. Gossiping is also called backbiting which is forbidden in our religion.
